This striking pendant and chain set is beautifully handcrafted in Israel in 925 sterling silver with 9K gold accents. The pendant is in the shape of the pomegranate fruit featuring 12 oval garnet stones set into one half, which the other half has the Jerusalem relief with its iconic brick walls and domed stone gateways. The crown of the pomegranate is highlighted with 3 small round red garnets set in gold frames.
Pomegranates, referenced in the Bible as one of the 7 species native to the land of Israel, are associated with abundance and fruitfulness. The fruits are believed to be lucky symbols bringing love and joy to the wearer.
