Product Description
This handcrafted 14k Gold Pruta Coin Pendant is a most presentable piece. The ancient bronze coin is set in a shiny gold rim. The rim is surrounded by a braided gold motif which gives the pendant a majestic, almost royal look. The pendant’s dainty triangular bail blends seamlessly with the style of the piece.
The coin was struck in the first century CE, during the Prefects and Procurators of Judea under Rome. On the face of the coin we can see a palm branch indigenous to the land of Israel, encircled by an ancient Roman inscription and the date which corresponds to the year 58/59 CE.
To be able to wear a pendant with a coin minted in Judea at a time when the Second Temple still stood is to connect with generation-long history. This is why this Pruta Coin Pendant is truly remarkable and a must-have.
Please note: Due to the authentic and ancient nature of the coin, your item may appear slightly different than the image shown.
This is a pendant only item and does not include a chain. A gold chain may be purchased separately.
