The chain is solid gold and the twelve colorful stones are set in a single line giving it a delicate and elegant look. Adorning the Priestly Breastplate in times of the Holy Temple, the Hoshen gemstones represent the 12 ancient tribes of Israel. Today, Hoshen stones are a popular motif in Jewish jewelry.
