It has a wide, thick base of oxidized (blackened) silver with polished silver bands on the top and bottom. Beautiful filigree lace design in 14k gold is incorporated on top of the oxidized silver. It is the work of very skilled craftsmen and really adds elegance to the ring. The contrast of the black, silver and gold colors is outstanding.
