The clip is made from sterling silver in a round, circular shape, bordered by an engraving of the famous Jerusalem skyline. In the center is a magnificent shred of Roman Glass in brilliant hues of blue. The combination of textures and colors is simply outstanding.
Uncovered from ancient Roman archaeological sites in modern-day Israel, each fragment of Roman Glass has been textured and colored by centuries of wind and weather. Each bears the marks of not only its past life as a household or temple object but also the very earth in which it rested until being transformed into a unique jewel.
